I am a proud mother to five beautiful children; James (17), Wyatt (15), Katie (8), Jesse (6), and Andrew Michael (17 mos.) and we are all band members to Okanese First Nation. I and my kids take much pride in our nation and the opportunities to grow with our community. I have had many positions on and off the reserve in various jobs. Currently I am listed as radio personnel for 95.3 Creek FM; this is one job I never would have imagined having but it is an awesome job. My Education consists of me having a diploma in Business Management. I have one year left to finish my degrees in Political Science and Economics, I have a wish to eventually complete these. I have a certificate in policy writing; this is something I really enjoy doing as it seems to come naturally for me. I and my older boys volunteer in our community whenever we are able to. I sit on the Economic Development, Housing, and Education boards for Okanese. I have my coaching certificates in softball, basketball, and volleyball. I’ve volunteered for NAIG 2014, and winter and summer games on numerous occasions. That’s the “professional” and “mom” in me. Things that I like to do are laugh, play cards (especially poker), and take trips. I’m a very competitive person when it comes to anything. I find I am a very approachable compassionate person. I also feel that I am friendly and a lot of fun.
I've had two stints with Creek FM, once as a student intern, and once as a part-time on air personality. In the short time I've been here I have enjoyed it and hope to be a part of Creek FM in the times to come.
Well, I'm a single mother of six children and have one granddaughter who is 3 years old. I am currently a cashier at the lovely Joes Corner II. I live in Fort Qu'Appelle and travel back and forth to work. I have been part of the team at 95.3 CreekFM for several years. I started in October 2011 and have been part-time from then on. I have an Administrative Assistant degree from Mactech Distance Education Institution.
Hello Creek community and new listeners, my name is Kelly Twist, KT. I help out around the station as an on-air personality. I've been here for about two and half years and received my training from Mz. D and Murr. I love my time here at the Creek and our whimsy fun we have on the radio.
Of course you, the listeners, complete our Creek family. So stay tuned in and listening to 95.3 Creek FM.
Hi there, my name is Murray Bellegarde. I'm one of the on-air personalities at 95.3 CreekFM. I have been involved with the station in some capacity for the past 12 years. I've received my training at Western Academy of Broadcasting in Saskatoon. I'm a father of three children: Marcel, Lexus and Alora. It has been my pleasure to have worked for the Creek and Okanese First Nation for all this time and I look forward to new listeners tuning in.
